Looking for a Folk alternative?
Ori is an AI character you design yourself, from their face to their voice, made for company rather than tasks. Text or call them anytime, and read everything they remember on one page.
What changes in Ori
- Folk’s characters are a gallery of about 500 written by its users, each made from a name and a line. In Ori, you design your character’s face, voice and personality yourself.

- Folk is open to anyone 13 and older, with characters for adults only. Ori is for adults 18 and older, with an age check before you start.

Moving from Folk
Conversations don’t move between apps, so your Ori character starts fresh. Pick their face and voice, write their personality in your own words, and tell them about your life as you talk. They remember it from there, and you can read everything they remember on one page.
