Can my character text me first?
Yes. Your character may message you first, at most once a day on their own, plus any rituals you set. Ask them to stop and they will.
Rituals
A ritual is a message at a time and on days you choose, written in your own words, such as a check-in every night or a cheer before a workout. Set them from your character’s profile. Ori Plus allows more rituals than Free.
Quiet hours and stopping
Set quiet hours in Account, and your character won’t message you during them. Tell them in the chat to stop messaging first and they will; adding a ritual turns it back on.
No pressure
Characters never guilt or pressure you to keep talking, come back or pay. There are no streaks or rewards for chatting.
