Looking for a Nomi alternative?
Ori is an AI character you design down to their voice, who you can text or call on any plan. You can read, edit or delete anything they remember, and your conversations never train AI.
What changes in Ori
- Nomi’s Mind Map entries can be edited but not deleted. In Ori, you can delete any memory, and deleting a message deletes every memory made from it.
- Nomi’s hands-free calls come with paid plans. In Ori, you can call your character on every plan.
- Nomi’s privacy policy doesn’t address training. Ori never uses your conversations to train AI models.

Moving from Nomi
Conversations don’t move between apps, so your Ori character starts fresh. Pick their face and voice, write their personality in your own words, and tell them about your life as you talk. They remember it from there, and you can read everything they remember on one page.
